As a Senior CAD Civil Designer, you will lead major civil and mining infrastructure projects nationwide, contributing to an innovative, collaborative, and quality-driven team. You will coordinate engineering and drafting design documentation across multi-disciplinary teams, lead 2D and 3D CAD design work for civil and mining infrastructure projects, prepare detailed engineering drawings from concept through to as-constructed documentation, perform scaling, dimensioning, and layout work using standard procedures, conduct 3D modelling and quantitative analysis with accuracy and efficiency, oversee and quality-check drafting deliverables from early career team members, guide and mentor junior designers while contributing to a national, high-performing team, collaborate with internal teams and clients, supporting project feasibility, design, and construction, drive continuous improvement by enhancing workflows and CAD standards, and contribute to proposals and budgeting for new projects.

About the Role
  • You will take a lead design role on select civil or multi-discipline projects, driving innovation and delivering precision in your work.
  • As a seasoned professional, you will have a proven track record of preparing earthworks and infrastructure designs, including dams, levees, pipelines, and hardstands, and processing survey data and technical documentation.
  • You will be comfortable leading, collaborating, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, and passionate about mentoring, innovation, and pushing boundaries in CAD excellence.
  • Able to work independently and lead delivery within a national team setting.
