About the Role:
The Field Application Specialist will be responsible for delivering training programs, conducting seminars and installations, and offering high-level technical support to customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver in-field application, training support and troubleshooting services to internal/external clients
  • Develop training content for organisational members and customers
  • Conduct system seminars, installations, training and connectivity solutions
  • Provide high-level technical assistance to our customers
  • Support product launches
  • Support sales personnel pre and post sale

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of technical experience in a life science laboratory with strong understanding of laboratory procedures and trends
  • PhD in Life Sciences or an associated field
  • Exceptional technical and application knowledge of life science methodologies and data management software
  • A proactive and passionate approach to maintaining high standards of support
  • Excellent presentation and training skills
  • Molecular Biology background including qPCR, Western Blotting and imaging
  • Experience with Bio-Rad instruments/software is highly advantageous
