Job Description

The Regional Manager position is a key role in the establishment of our new Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS) in the Loddon Mallee region. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for coordinating the effective delivery of services by the regional team, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the program.

You will provide high-level management, clinical, and forensic expertise to the regional and rural team, coordinate the implementation and operation of the regional team, and oversee the ongoing development and implementation of the service model for regional forensic mental health services.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service expansion, reflective of the growing demand for community-based mental health services. You will be involved in the establishment, evaluation, and further development of this important new service.

About You
  • We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrated commitment to mental health consumer recovery and incorporating consumer perspectives into service delivery.
  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate Board or Association as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist is required.
  • Demonstrated minimum 10-year post-registration mental health experience is essential.
