Dynamic Allied Health Trainer Opportunity in Victoria

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate trainer to deliver our Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance qualification. This dynamic role will involve facilitating hands-on training to students from diverse backgrounds, supporting their pathway, and marking assignments.
The successful applicant will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and significant work experience in Allied Health or a related industry. They will possess excellent time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver engaging virtual training via Zoom.
This casual contract position offers flexible working arrangements, with payment based on the number of days trained and other factors. The ideal candidate will be available to commence in February and will be required to work across multiple locations in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic training to students, support them through their pathway, and mark assignments.
- Encourage students as they complete 120 hours of industry work placement, placed by Stirling's Work Placement Coordinators.
- Work towards Stirling's compliance requirements, such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
- Deliver the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance one day a week over approximately 11 months.
Requirements
- Qualifications and significant work experience in Allied Health or related industry.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification.
- Passion to train and motivate others.
- Ability to deliver dynamic engaging training.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging virtual training (via Zoom).
- Excellent computer/email/Zoom/internet skills.
- Drivers license and own reliable transport.
- Working with Children Check.
