The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst PMO to join our Project Services team. This dedicated team supports the delivery of program, project management, and analysis services that drive organisational success.

The Senior Analyst role reports directly to the Senior Manager, PMO, and plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient delivery of our strategic programs. The PMO team comprises specialists who provide guidance on best practice standards, reporting, insights, monitoring, control, resource management, risk and issue management, and quality assurance at the organisational level.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll support the development and adoption of our project frameworks, governance, and tools; analyse and coordinate portfolio-level tracking against performance indicators; report on schedules, deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, and benefits; foster a high-performance team environment; provide excellent customer service; and identify continual service improvement practices.

You will also provide PMO support to Program and Project Managers in the management and oversight of specific projects as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified professional with extensive PMO experience and up-to-date project management certifications, such as PMBOK or agile certifications. High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with tools like MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, and Objective are essential.

You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, including executives, managers, SMEs, outsourced partners, and consultants. Practical knowledge of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and governance practices, as well as experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, is crucial for success in this role.

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to tailor messages for different audiences and build constructive relationships at all levels, are essential. You should be adaptable, accountable, and open to new ideas, critically evaluating information and challenging assumptions. Driving improvement opportunities, facilitating knowledge transfer, and acting in accordance with organisational values and standards are also key attributes for this role.
