Logistics Operations Manager

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Logistics Operations Manager across multiple sites, managing bulk and general freight deliveries. The role is responsible for reviewing usage of bulk freight, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, and ensuring timely deliveries. The successful candidate will have experience in transport, logistics, or freight management, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Review and coordinate deliveries of general freight, including segregation of BHP and contractor freight
- Complete field leadership and coaching to ensure safety and process procedures are followed
- Raise and approve purchase orders for both general freight and bulk deliveries
- Engage with stakeholders on site regarding freight enquiries and maintain site access for 3PL teams
- Demonstrated experience in transport, logistics, or freight management
- Proven ability to foster strategic partnerships and improve service delivery
- Experience with contract management and HSEC incident management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
