Senior Bus Operations Manager

The Transport Operations Manager plays a vital role in delivering safe, reliable and inclusive bus transport services to support our workforce and community. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety management systems and working collaboratively with other teams.
Key Responsibilities- Safety Leadership: Provide leadership of bus operations at Olympic Dam, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety protocols.
- Busing Support: Support Aviation and Facilities Management Supervisors located at Prominent Hill and Carrapateena for busing operations, as well as providing on-call availability for significant events.
- Planning and Coordination: Plan shutdown bus services to meet key stakeholder requirements and monitor the performance of bus business partners to ensure compliance with contract obligations.
- Airport Reporting Officer: Complete Airport Reporting Officer duties on rostered schedule, including working late shifts where required.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and lead/contribute to BHP Operating System (BOS) routines.
- Relationship Building: Establish productive working relationships with contracting partners, customers and the broader Integrated Services teams, conducting regular reviews of Business As Usual (BAU) Schedule and Utilisation reports to identify areas for improvement.
