The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a complex and dynamic environment, requiring a proactive approach to ensuring the quality and safety of supports and services.

As a Regulatory Assessment Officer, you will play a critical role in upholding the rights of people with disability, promoting their health, safety, and wellbeing, and developing a nationally consistent approach to managing quality and safeguards.

You will work closely with our Division's four branches: Market Operations, Regulatory Campaigns and Projects, Compliance and Enforcement, and Operational Assessment, to ensure that regulatory activities are risk-responsive and effective.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring changes in the NDIS market and mitigating risks of unplanned service withdrawal
  • Engaging in, promoting, and coordinating the sharing of information to achieve the objects of the relevant legislation
