Civil Division Project Manager Job Description

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Civil Division Project Manager to take on a key role in overseeing the delivery of complex civil engineering projects. As a full-time project manager, you will play a pivotal part in contributing to the company's growth and expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, contractors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders and regulatory authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reporting to senior management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Civil Division Project Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex civil engineering projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, project management or a related field.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations and standards.
