Job Overview

Senior Manager, Legal Services Role

As a senior legal professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and services to support research and education initiatives at one of the world's top universities.

  • Work as a senior lawyer and legal lead in a dynamic and collaborative team.
  • Provide complex legal work and lead with a focus on practical, timely, and high-quality legal advice and services across research and education law matters.
  • Draft and negotiate various legal agreements, manage complex transactions and projects, and advise internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a team of legal professionals, contribute to service delivery improvements, and ensure the legal function operates with excellence and integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualified legal practitioner with at least 10 years of post-admission experience.
  • Deep technical expertise in intellectual property, research development, and/or higher education regulatory space.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking skills; ability to manage complex matters independently and work with senior stakeholders.
