Global Financial Markets Associate Lawyer

A leading law firm seeks an Australian-qualified Lawyer/Associate with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic environment within an international law firm, engaging in diverse and intellectually stimulating work.

The role involves collaborating across practice groups and jurisdictions to help successful companies fund themselves and manage risk. This influences market practices through innovative, high-profile deals, including industry 'firsts' in sustainable finance and digital bonds.

The team operates across a broad spectrum of finance law, providing unmatched insight and seamless service to clients. We handle challenging and impactful deals and disputes that can shape the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across practice groups and jurisdictions to provide expertise in Australian, English, US, and other international laws.
  • Engage in diverse and intellectually stimulating work with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration locally, regionally, and globally.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients by handling challenging and impactful deals and disputes.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years PQE (Associate/Lawyer)
  • Experience in Global Financial Markets or International Capital Markets from a top-tier law firm.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and curious with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
