Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Operations Risk Management (ORM) Practice in Australia. The successful candidate will lead delivery of client engagements to develop safety leadership and culture, reduce operational risks, and enhance systems and capabilities for safety and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead delivery of client engagements to develop safety leadership and culture, reduce operational risks, and enhance systems and capabilities for safety and risk management.
- Acting as Lead Consultant to deliver assessments, design and deliver training and coaching programmes, and develop operational risk management systems.
- Interface at senior levels in organisations and support the Engagement Lead to lead and manage the engagement.
- Contribute to developing client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand our work with clients.
- Lead Consultant
- Deliver risk and safety engagements as the workstream lead or technical lead (reporting to the Engagement Lead).
- Facilitate workshops, deliver coaching, provide technical advice to clients, and develop risk and safety systems.
- Manage projects to ensure the effective execution of the project, including project planning, project governance, and risk management.
- Present analyses and recommendations that influence and persuade clients.
- Oversee Consultants and Analysts to ensure the quality of the work and to contribute to their development.
- Degree qualified in Science, Engineering, Psychology, or other relevant disciplines.
- Ideal experience of 8+ years in industry and consulting, with exposure to the Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Utilities, Mining, or Oil & Gas sectors preferred.
- Track record of reducing risk and enhancing safety in an operational context, along with experience in embedding change by enhancing systems, capabilities, and culture to improve performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex research projects and provide relevant recommendations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and team working attitude, to be able to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
- High level of proficiency with Power Point, Visio, Word, Advanced Excel, Access, and ideally visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly and work on client sites as required.
