The Role:

This graduate position offers hands-on experience supporting the Prime Minister, Cabinet, Portfolio Ministers, and Assistant Ministers. You will be exposed to a broad range of areas, including policy development, research, and analysis. Your tasks will involve:

  • Supporting the Prime Minister and Cabinet on key economic issues;
  • Advising on policies and programs related to financial sector governance and competition;
  • Contributing to initiatives that promote women's economic security and gender equality;
  • Working with Behavioural Economics teams to generate evidence-based solutions for complex policy problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have recently graduated in an economics, commerce, finance, or accounting discipline. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, you must be willing to relocate to Canberra and undergo police, character, and health checks as required.
