About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our world-class engineering team as an APAC Data Center Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will lead the electrical design of our data centers across the rapidly expanding Asia Pacific region.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading data center electrical designs in collaboration with other disciplines, participating in site selection reviews, and working with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements. You will also be responsible for critical data center equipment design, including MV infrastructure, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, and earthing.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of experience directly related to data center or mission-critical facility design. You must have a comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region and fundamental knowledge of critical MV and LV electrical equipment.

A detailed understanding of MV system modeling, relays, protection schemes, circuit breakers, power distribution transformers, electrical switchgear, grounding, and earthing is highly desirable. Previous experience with consultant negotiation and management skills associated with design, construction, and project execution is also preferred.
