We are seeking highly skilled Nurses to provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients. Reporting to a medical leader, the RN will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including clinical governance committees, sales teams, senior nurse practitioners, pharmacy and hospital staff, general practitioners and other allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnoses
  • Ordering and interpreting pathology and radiology tests
  • Providing telehealth consultations to patients
  • Referencing patients to appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Managing patient care upon referral from other healthcare professionals
  • Prescribing and administering approved medications
  • Participating in peer and case review procedures as guided by professional services operations managers or senior nurse practitioners
  • Contributing to workforce development programs
  • Fulfilling clinic procedures and policies
Requirements:
  • Compliance with federal and state legislation, Department of Health policies, and local procedures related to delivering healthcare services and prescribing scheduled medicines
  • Current immunisation certification as per state requirements
  • AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse endorsement
  • Maintenance of eligibility to participate under Medicare
  • Annual completion of CPR and anaphylaxis training
