We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Handyman/Woman at our resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including general repairs and maintenance of all areas of our resort.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with monitoring and completing requested maintenance tasks
  • Performing basic maintenance works, including electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Dismantling and installing furniture, mirrors and whiteboards as required
  • Coordinating and assisting with departmental and employee moves
  • Maintaining facility standards through cleaning duties as required
  • General joinery duties, including installing locks and hinges to doors
  • Updating computer maintenance logs and liaising with onsite contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with site inductions and OHS procedures
  • Picking up parts and supplies as required, using company vehicles when necessary
  • Maintaining building security and responding to emergencies 24/7
  • Standardizing products and fittings to increase efficiencies and reduce suppliers and stock

**Requirements**

  • General knowledge of the construction industry
  • Understanding of construction plans and OHS & PPE requirements
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work flexibly
