We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to take ownership of the full accounting function across multiple entities.

About the Role:
  • This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of responsibilities, including full-function bookkeeping and accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
  • You will be responsible for payroll processing and compliance, as well as preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS, GST reports, and financial statements.
  • Inter-entity allocations and reconciliations will also be a key part of your role, along with liaison with the construction team to generate financial reports from CHEOPS.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and take full ownership of the accounting function.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles, ideally in property, construction, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, Excel, and a sound understanding of GST/BAS requirements.
  • Experience or willingness to be trained in CHEOPS construction accounting software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are also essential.
