Our organization is seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team. As a Staff Healthcare Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting and/or translation services to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients from diverse backgrounds.

About the Role
  • This role involves working in various locations across Sydney, including hospitals and healthcare services.
  • You will work closely with healthcare teams to provide accurate and reliable interpretation services, ensuring that patients receive quality care.
  • As an interpreter, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them navigate the healthcare system.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • NAATI Certification or Recognition in relevant languages.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to identify and convey social and cultural factors affecting healthcare.
  • Knowledge of AUSIT Code of Ethics.
  • Current NSW driver's license and willingness to travel.
