Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The role of a Senior Infrastructure Engineer is crucial in designing, managing, and maintaining large-scale data center networking environments.

  • This involves ensuring the smooth operation of complex network systems, including F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems, as well as Cisco Data Center technologies such as ACI, Routers, Nexus switches, and routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.

Additional responsibilities include implementing Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions, designing and integrating hybrid and public cloud services, and developing and maintaining system architecture and design documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual, and Essential Eight is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in designing, managing, and maintaining large-scale data center networking environments.
  • Implementing F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Designing and deploying network infrastructure using Cisco Data Center technologies.
  • Implementing Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions.
  • Designing and integrating hybrid and public cloud services.
