Project Development Lead

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative project development lead to contribute to the development of an Alternative Learning Curriculum Resource within a School Improvement Branch's Curriculum, Teaching and Learning team.

This role involves leading and collaborating on the development of the curriculum resource, ensuring it meets diverse learners' needs. It also requires building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across teams, branches, regions, and schools to ensure the resource is practical and inclusive.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality written responses to policy positions, curriculum implementation matters, and correspondence, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities.
  • Additionally, they will facilitate professional learning opportunities for stakeholders to build capacity and understanding of the curriculum resource and its application in schools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expert knowledge of the Prep to Year 10 Australian Curriculum Version 9 General Capabilities.
  • Strong written communication and digital delivery skills, with the ability to produce high-quality resources and responses tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in facilitating professional learning and engaging a range of stakeholders to build capacity and understanding of curriculum initiatives.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Relationship-building skills to foster productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement in curriculum implementation.
