About the Role

The Deputy Principal will be part of the Executive Team. They will provide instructional leadership capability around the Australian Curriculum. They will also support teachers to provide evidence informed pedagogies enabling every student to realise their full potential. The successful applicant will have a skillset to lead a positive school culture working in with a team. They will be responsible for cohort management of Year 10 and responsibility for VPSHS Inclusion agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Deputise for the Principal when required.
  • Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
