Project Cost Controller

Sunwater is seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to contribute to the commercial sustainability of the Paradise Dam Improvement project. As a key member of the project team, you will play a vital role in providing financial expertise and operational delivery of day-to-day costing and financial services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the project cost attribution process, ensuring timely financial close, invoice processing, and cost transfers.
- Develop and implement systems to track and report on actual and forecast costs, managing cost exposure across project cost codes.
- Support and measure cost variances from the project baseline, taking appropriate action with the project management team.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, engineering, or significant experience in a similar field.
- Systems expertise: Proficiency in project-based systems such as PRISM/Contruent and SAP.
- Analytical skills: High-level analytical and conceptual skills, including data analysis and problem-solving.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write and present quality reports to senior leadership.
- Base salary starting from $107,700.
- 12.75% superannuation.
- Access to banked time and TOIL.
- 17.5% leave loading.
