About the Position

The successful candidate will lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns to promote our region, manage website content, and support the marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and analysing digital performance using analytics tools to provide insights and make data-driven adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Managing and optimising website content to enhance user experience and engagement while staying current with best practices in digital marketing.
  • Mentoring and guiding marketing officers on SEO and SEM best practices to ensure team growth and adherence to best practices in digital marketing.
  • Supporting change initiatives and contributing to the business unit's culture to ensure it is inclusive, customer-focused, results-driven, and accountable.
  • Aligning work activities to the department's Business Plans and Strategy, supporting implementation and balancing value for the community and customers within financial and resource constraints.
  • Implementing systems, processes, and workflows to deliver results, ensuring relevant policies, governance mechanisms, and regulations are adhered to.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in marketing, PR, advertising, communications or a relevant field and/or significant senior leadership experience in digital marketing.

Essential Experience:

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and practices related to marketing and promotions.
  • Demonstrated people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Well-developed writing, presentation, and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaboration and partnerships.
  • Tactical marketing and communication skills, including influencing stakeholders to achieve support to deliver outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in the effective management of and application of brand(s).
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing digital platforms, including social media accounts, websites, and direct customer marketing (such as EDMs).
