Job SummaryConfigure and administer advanced storage solutions, leveraging expertise in Fibre Channel switch administration, HNAS, HCP, and HDI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Hitachi Storage Area Network (SAN) and associated components.
- Design and execute data restore and disaster recovery strategies.
- Develop and maintain data backup procedures.
- Oversee storage aspects of new server integrations, storage allocation, and Change Management processes.
- Establish efficient storage consolidation practices for diverse platforms.
- Analyze and resolve storage issues on various Hitachi systems.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform Hitachi Storage analysis, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Document operational storage policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports on Hitachi storage administration best practices and recommend enhancements.
Requirements:
- Plan and execute Hitachi storage installations.
- Monitor and analyze storage environments, resolving any issues.
- Determine optimal storage allocation strategies.
- Configure Hi-Track monitor for Hitachi Arrays.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot HORCM.
- Implement data replication solutions.
