Kirinari Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Disability Support Worker to join our Complex Care Team. This team provides essential care and support to individuals with complex trauma and behavioral needs, working across Out of Home Care (OOHC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote growth and well-being
- Provide hands-on support and assistance to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
- Work collaboratively with the Complex Care Team to ensure a strength-based, non-punitive approach to care
- Identify and support clients' growth needs, promoting safety and empowerment
- Qualification in Community Services (Cert IV) or equivalent
- Strong interest in youth work, mental health, and disability support
- Understanding of strength-based trauma-informed practice framework
- Ability to work shift work, including regular sleepovers and weekends
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances and checks prior to commencement
