The Executive Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in all areas of the property. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with department heads, guests, and team members.

  • Responsible for short and long-term planning and management of housekeeping operations.
  • Develop and recommend budget plans and objectives, and manage within approved parameters.
  • Teach employees the importance of providing excellent customer service and how to greet guests and resolve issues courteously.
  • Ensure consistent maintenance of the inspection program.
  • Assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
  • Work closely with all other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Inspect rooms daily to maintain high standards.
  • Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies is essential.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance.
  • Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff is required.
  • Ensure OSHA and ADA policies are adhered to.
  • Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful.

">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or management.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.
  • Previous experience in Rooms Division (preferably in Housekeeping).
  • Self-driven and solution-focused individual.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage extensive budgets and perform month-end closing.
  • Able to lift heavier than normal objects and stand/walk for long periods.
