Risk and Compliance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Manager to provide our client with essential risk management and compliance support. This part-time role involves establishing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure the College meets its regulatory, legal, and operational compliance and risk obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the College's Risk Management Framework and maintain the Risk Register
- Assist in developing the College's Critical Incident Management Plan
- Promote a positive culture of risk management awareness within the College
- Provide regular risk management reports to the College Council and Principal
- Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes impacting the College and recommend necessary policy adjustments
- Maintain the College's Policy Register and compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain a compliance calendar and ensure completion of compliance tasks
- Attend OHS Committee meetings and support the implementation of OHS policies and procedures
- Train staff in practical risk management and deliver training on compliance topics
- Qualifications in Risk Management or a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
- Possess experience in legal compliance within a similar organisation
- Hold a current Working with Children's Check for employment purposes
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
- Show a proactive approach to managing risk and compliance activities
- Be able to work collaboratively within a team environment
