Manager, Risk and Compliance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional with a strong background in risk and compliance to join our esteemed Superannuation Fund as a Manager, Risk and Compliance.

This role is critical to our organization, as you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our risk and compliance framework. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Fund's risk and compliance obligations are met, and that our risk and compliance framework remains robust and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the superannuation risk and compliance framework
  • Oversee the risk register
  • Proactively identify new and emerging risks and implement framework improvements
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Manage the risk and compliance aspects of new and existing outsourced service providers
  • Act as the regulatory liaison
  • Ensure ongoing compliance obligations are met
  • Prepare and present risk and compliance reporting to the Board and relevant committees

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a risk and compliance role focused on superannuation
  • Strong superannuation experience and knowledge of the associated legislation and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience of building high-level internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Possess strong analytical skills
