About the Role

This is a full-time, ongoing position within a dynamic and supportive team based in Moorabbin. You will provide highly developed best practice advice to support and develop case management staff across the Bayside region.

The department aims to deliver an effective corrections system for a safe community. Currently experiencing rapid growth in the offender population, the department is responding by embedding evidence-based practice across all areas of its work.

You will support the Manager, Professional Practice, and undertake case practice quality audits. Regular practice forums and education sessions will be provided to embed best practices across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on best practice case management frameworks and theoretical concepts.
  • Develop strong relationships with case management staff and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the formation of policy and procedures that strengthen case practice and support regional specific workforce development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience and expertise in best practice case management frameworks and theoretical concepts.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant qualification in social work, psychology, human services, criminal justice or criminology (desirable).
