Job Overview

Safeguarding Quality Home-Based Care and Education:

This is a part-time, permanent role that involves supporting the delivery of high-quality, home-based care and education that is safe, flexible, and responsive to community needs.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with national regulations, policies, and quality frameworks through regular home visits, training, and resource provision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the provision of care and education within the educator's home in accordance with national regulations, policies, and quality frameworks
  • Visiting educators on a regular basis and providing support, guidance, and advice on matters related to the care and education of children, including children's health, emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
  • Monitoring the learning and development of children in care to ensure that each child is developing to their full potential and referring them to relevant agencies as needed

About You:

You are a dedicated and supportive professional with experience in early childhood education and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and frameworks. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with educators and families.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • First Aid qualification (HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 or equivalent)
  • CPR certificate and Anaphylaxis management certificate
  • Emergency Asthma Management certificate
  • Current Driver's License
  • Excellent Computer Skills
