Job Title: Wall & Floor Tiler

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a wall and floor tiler. The successful candidate will have a strong background in measuring, cutting, and installing tiles according to design plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tile Installation: Measure, cut, and install tiles according to design plans.
  • Surface Preparation: Study plans and examine surfaces to determine material needs, apply waterproofing, secede shower bases, and prepare surfaces for tiling.
  • Cutting and Shaping Tiles: Cut and shape tile to fit around obstacles using hand and power tools.
  • Fixtures Installation: Install and anchor fixtures in designated positions.
  • Mortar Application: Mix and apply mortar or cement to seal joints.
  • Tile Adhesive Application: Prepare and apply tile adhesives, position tile, and press to affix to base.
  • Layout Planning: Determine and implement the best layout for a desired pattern.
  • Tile Alignment: Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges.
Requirements
  • Certificate: Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as a wall and floor tiler.
