Wall and Floor Tiler Job Description

This role involves laying various types of tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Current Australian Driver's licence
  • Current construction industry white card
  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

We are looking for a skilled and experienced tiler who is able to work efficiently and safely according to regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Laying tiles on walls and floors
  • Waterproofing and preparing wall and floor surfaces
  • Grouting, sealing and cleaning completed tiling work
  • Reading and understanding plans
  • Measuring and marking surfaces
  • Cutting tiles to fit around obstacles and edges
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of skill and expertise in their field.
