We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager to join our team on a key mining project. As a proactive professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, environmental, and quality performance of operations.
Your primary focus will be on providing on-site and remote support across operations, implementing and continuously improving HSEQ systems, procedures, and initiatives.
You will conduct and lead incident investigations, perform regular inspections and audits, and maintain detailed records of HSEQ performance.
In addition, you will facilitate risk assessments, support environmental management and compliance monitoring activities, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across all HSEQ areas.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in WHS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 2–3+ years' experience in a similar HSEQ position, ideally within mining or heavy industry.
- A solid understanding of WHS legislation and relevant ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in audits, investigations, and HSEQ reporting systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSEQ platforms/software.
