Job Title: Traffic Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Traffic Operations Manager to oversee traffic management operations on major infrastructure projects in Victoria.

  • This role requires a strong understanding of traffic management regulations and standards in Victoria, as well as proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience in traffic control and management, with a focus on major infrastructure projects, and relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, traffic management, or a related field.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to develop and implement traffic management plans in collaboration with project stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will be required to lead and manage traffic control operations on major infrastructure projects, monitor and report on project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic control and management, with a focus on major infrastructure projects.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, traffic management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and standards in Victoria.
  • Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
