  • We are a specialist steel-fabrication company with extensive experience in designing and delivering projects.

We deliver projects in various sectors including Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation.

Our work includes dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team on a casual basis.

This role involves fabricating and welding products, selecting and preparing metal from stock, cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and machines.

You will also be responsible for joining metal sections using various welding techniques, examining welds for width, penetration and precision, cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • TIG & MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Some experience in stainless steel and aluminum welding is highly desirable
  • Welding Certification or relevant experience
  • A current driver's license and reliable transport
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivated, reliable and take pride in their workmanship
  • A strong safety focused work ethic
