Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Executive to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and lead a high-performing finance team, delivering financial information, analysis, and advice that supports business decision-making.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Assistant Commissioners, Commanders, and operational staff
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial information, analysis, and advice to support business decisions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Supervise and support team members, managing resources and balancing competing priorities to deliver results

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial plans and strategies
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management and leadership, preferably in a similar role or function
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
