Advanced Trainee Position in Paediatric Infectious Diseases
About the RoleWe are seeking an Advanced Trainee to join our team in Paediatric Infectious Diseases. As a key member of our unit, you will be responsible for diagnosing infectious diseases and providing clinical services to in-patients and out-patients under supervision.
Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through teaching, clinico-pathological patient review, and personal study.
You will also have opportunities to participate in research and development activities, collaborating with our experienced team to drive innovation and excellence in our field.
Key Responsibilities- • Diagnose infectious diseases and provide clinical services to in-patients and out-patients under supervision
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through teaching, clinico-pathological patient review, and personal study
• Participate in research and development activities of the Infectious Diseases Unit
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
• Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
• Ability to work effectively with pathologists, laboratory staff, clerical staff, Infectious Diseases Physicians, resident medical staff, and nursing and other paramedical staff.
• High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
