Paediatric Infectious Disease Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Paediatric Infectious Disease Trainee to participate in our Infectious Diseases training program. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic and clinical Infectious Diseases services, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and engage in research and development activities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a medical practitioner to develop their skills and expertise in Paediatric Infectious Diseases. As an Advanced Trainee, you will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.

  • Provide diagnostic and clinical Infectious Diseases services to inpatients and outpatients under appropriate supervision
  • Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through teaching, case reviews, and personal study
  • Engage in research and development activities within the Infectious Diseases Unit
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
  • Satisfactorily completed RACP Basic Paediatric Training requirements and progressed to Advanced Trainee
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and staff
  • High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
