This is a senior management position at our school, supporting the Principal in driving teaching and learning strategy and overseeing operations.
The successful candidate will be part of the executive leadership team, responsible for leading a team of assistant principals across the College.
In collaboration with the Pastor, Principal, and other Catholic lay leaders, the role shares responsibility for the Church's evangelising and catechising mission within the College.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and best practice.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate strategic teaching and learning objectives.
- Strengthen school-parish connections in the Church's evangelising mission.
- Stay current with educational trends locally and globally to guide staff development.
- Oversee the Annual Professional Learning Plan to support staff capability.
- Manage complex pastoral care and discipline matters as required.
- Lead or support recruitment and selection across all role levels.
- Assist in developing and executing the College's wellbeing framework.
- Promote and enact the SCS mission: To know and love Christ through learning and Thriving Catholic communities through excellent teaching and learning.
Requirements include:
- Postgraduate qualifications or Masters in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a relevant educational field.
- Meet Category E requirements to Work, Teach, and Lead or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term.
