Key Job Responsibilities

Senior Contract Administrators are required to manage commercial projects in Canberra, with potential for growth.

This is an opportunity to work on a range of construction projects in the ACT region.

Job Tasks
  • Prepare and distribute subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
  • Assist with progress claims and external variations.
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts.
  • Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims.
  • Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants.
  • Manage the project HSE system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Senior-level construction/building contract/commercial management skills, with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects.
  • Aspiring contract administration level; demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects.
  • Industry-relevant degree qualification.
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions.
  • Appreciation of processes and systems.
