Overview:

Are you a skilled professional looking to make a positive impact in the lives of others? We are seeking a Mental Health and AOD Clinician to join our team in delivering high-quality evidence-based psychological therapies and clinical interventions.

The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary recovery-focused team, drawing on their disciplinary skills to engage with consumers and provide holistic support addressing social, physical, and emotional needs.

We deliver services across Victoria for adults and young people experiencing alcohol and other drug harms, family violence, mental health challenges, and social disadvantage. Our Model of Care puts clients at the centre of what we do, creating a safe and inclusive space for them to thrive.

As a Mental Health & AOD Clinician, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will work closely with families, communities, and other organisations to deliver trauma-informed, equitable, culturally safe, and integrated services based on evidence and practice wisdom.

Our Step Thru Care - Mental Health and AOD model is a partnership-led service delivery model intended to address independent and co-occurring Mental Health and AOD support needs across western Victoria. The service provides a comprehensive approach to care, addressing a range of social, physical, and emotional needs informed by Collaborative Relational Practice (CRP) and supported by best practice in evidence-based and evidence-informed care.

You will be responsible for engaging with consumers to provide high-quality evidence-based psychological therapies and clinical interventions, and working with the consumers' treatment team, their family, friends, and carers aimed at improving mental health and AOD outcomes for consumers.
