We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Personal Care Assistant. This is a unique opportunity for someone who prioritizes building connections and providing exceptional care to others.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering Comprehensive Support: Provide individualized care that respects the resident's personal beliefs, values, needs, and culture in their care plans.

Maintaining Resident Dignity: Ensure dignity, privacy, and confidentiality are maintained at all times, while adhering to relevant policies and regulations.

OHS Obligations: Report incidents and changes in resident behavior to RNs, and maintain up-to-date records of vaccinations and police checks.

Requirements:

  • Holding a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care
  • Minimum 3 months' work experience as PCA in residential aged care, home care, or disability services
  • Able to work flexible shifts and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly

Working Conditions:

Shift Work: 8 hour shifts with flexibility to work overtime

Location: Bendigo VIC, with a reliable commute required
