To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding position, you must be a creative, flexible, and adaptable individual who can think outside the box and provide effective solutions for complex patient needs. This extended leadership role requires collaboration with external stakeholders and a passion for quality improvement within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include providing care in various modes and settings, including home visits, multidisciplinary clinics, virtual care, and group classes. You will also collaborate with Primary Health Networks, NDIS, My Aged Care, other Local Health Districts, and Non-Government Organisations.
Key qualifications include being a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, holding relevant post-registration qualifications, and having at least three years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification. A current unrestricted NSW Driver's License is also required.
Successful candidates will demonstrate effective time management skills, ability to prioritise competing workloads, and evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills. They will also exhibit critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
