Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and empathetic individual to lead our lifestyle services team, ensuring the delivery of engaging lifestyle programs that cater to individual needs and preferences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive lifestyle assessments of residents, coaching and managing the lifestyle team, and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lifestyle Assessments: Develop and implement comprehensive lifestyle assessments of residents, identifying their individual needs and preferences.">
  • Lifestyle Program Delivery: Deliver engaging lifestyle programs that cater to individual needs and preferences, enhancing physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social wellbeing.">
  • Lifestyle Team Management: Coach and manage the lifestyle team to deliver meaningful activities, promoting teamwork and collaboration.">
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive relationships with residents, families and volunteers, ensuring effective communication and feedback.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

">

Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Equivalent: Possess a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.

">

Experience in Lifestyle Services: Have experience working in lifestyle services within aged care, demonstrating a strong understanding of current Aged Care Quality Standards.

">

Effective Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

">
