Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional lifestyle experiences for our residents. This involves developing and implementing comprehensive lifestyle programs that cater to their diverse needs and interests.

Our ideal candidate is a passionate and self-driven individual with excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide top-notch service at all times. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily delivery of lifestyle and therapy programs under the direction of the Facility Manager and Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lifestyle programs that promote engagement and inclusivity among residents.
  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of lifestyle and therapy programs, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in the admission process by promoting our lifestyle programs and assisting new residents with their orientation into the facility.
  • Act as a resource to uphold excellence in dining principles and serve as the liaison between resident food services and individualized requests.
  • Manage lifestyle programs, including intergenerational activities, bookings, and bus trips.
  • Organize resident and relative meetings.
  • Coordinate volunteers.
  • Regularly attend dining services and address residents' and families' queries as needed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Hold a genuine interest in working with older people.
  • Experience in Therapy (essential).
  • Experience in Aged Care (desirable).
  • Experience in Hospitality (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent/higher qualification.
  • Proven experience in coordinating enjoyable lifestyle programs in aged care.
  • Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
