Senior Lifestyle Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at Gertrude Abbott Aged Care & The Sister Anne Court. As a Senior Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and inclusive leisure opportunities that foster a sense of community among our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social and leisure programs tailored to the diverse interests and needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with families, volunteers, and clinical staff to provide personalized support and guidance in facilitating activities and promoting meaningful interactions.
  • Evaluate and refine programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs and preferences of residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in program development and facilitation, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience using electronic care management systems (desirable).
  • Possession of relevant qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, or equivalent (desirable).
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination status is mandatory.
