Lead a new era of security and innovation at Mineral Resources

We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management Lead to join our dynamic team in Western Australia. As a key member of our IT Security, Risk, and Governance department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our identity and access management systems.

About the Opportunity:

  • Monitor, assess, and improve our IAM systems and practices to ensure the highest level of security posture and user experience.
  • Drive improvements to both security posture and user experience to support business productivity and ease of use.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership on IAM concepts and oversee administration activities.
  • Identify and drive process improvements for IAM systems and practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for IAM matters.
  • Lead internal reviews of IAM practices for standards compliance and good practice.
  • Ensure efficient and effective IAM administrative processes, including provisioning, transfer, and termination functions.
  • Develop and maintain role and attribute-based access models.
  • Implement appropriate segregation of duty controls across key technology systems.
  • Collaborate with departments to improve IAM standard compliance, manage risk, and bolster effectiveness.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant tertiary degree or certification in IAM, cybersecurity, or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience working on IAM systems, ideally including Microsoft and Okta.
  • Experience designing and optimising identity systems, processes, and integrations with people and service management solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing role and attribute-based access management systems.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling and information architecture concepts.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of integration concepts, including event-driven architecture and APIs.
  • Ability to switch between chasing quick wins and delivering long-term strategic improvements.
  • Risk-based prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A Competitive Salary Package:

We offer a highly competitive salary package of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional skills and experience in the field of IAM.
