Job Title: Health and Wellness Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our organization as a Health and Wellness Advisor.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with various disabilities and barriers to employment;
  • Offer counselling intervention as needed, utilizing various psychological methodologies;
  • Refer candidates to additional external support services to help address barriers;
  • Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases;
  • Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates; and
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on psychological services and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA;
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Counselling, or eligibility to gain, membership with ACA / PACFA;
  • Experience working within employment services is highly regarded but not essential;
  • Knowledge of psychology assessment/intervention strategies;
  • Exceptional communication, rapport building skills, and engagement;
  • Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
  • Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
