Overview

We are seeking a Health and Wellness Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with various disabilities and barriers to employment;
  • Offer counseling interventions as needed, utilizing psychological methodologies;
  • Refer candidates to external support services to address barriers;
  • Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor case progression;
  • Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates;
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on psychological services and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in counseling, or eligibility to gain membership with ACA/PACFA;
  • Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential;
  • Knowledge of psychology assessment/intervention strategies;
  • Exceptional communication, rapport-building skills, and engagement;
  • Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
  • Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
