Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist Manager

The role of a Cloud Security Specialist Manager is to drive long-term security outcomes for AWS. This involves working closely with government and regulated industries to understand their needs and deliver security systems and solutions that enable them to operate more effectively, securely, and safely.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team that is changing how we think about Cloud Security at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Security Specialist Manager, you will be responsible for influencing and owning long-term security outcomes for AWS.

You will work closely with your manager, peers, partners, and customers to innovate and deliver on the vision and purpose of your programs. While working directly with AWS security teams, infrastructure, and delivery teams, you will identify opportunities to improve AWS' project security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Influence and own long-term security outcomes for AWS.
  2. Work closely with government and regulated industries to understand their needs and deliver security systems and solutions that enable them to operate more effectively, securely, and safely.
  3. Identify opportunities to improve AWS' project security posture.
Requirements
  • Experience in core project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management, on highly technical initiatives.
  • Experience with governments or regulated industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience driving overall strategy and teams across organizations.
  • Clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture.
